The Split Jerk is a olympic weightlifting movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Split Jerk

  1. Hold the bar in the rack position on your shoulders with elbows slightly in front.
  2. Dip straight down a few inches, then drive the bar overhead while splitting your feet front and back.
  3. Lock the bar out fully before the feet land, front knee bent, rear leg nearly straight.
  4. Recover by stepping the front foot back first, then bring the rear foot forward.
