The Squat with Chains is a powerlifting movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Squat with Chains

  1. Drape chains evenly over each sleeve so they pool on the floor at the bottom position.
  2. Unrack and set up in your squat stance.
  3. Squat to depth — chains deload at the bottom and reload as you ascend.
  4. Accelerate out of the hole to overcome the increasing load at the top.
