How to do the Standing Palm-In One-Arm Dumbbell Press

  1. Stand holding a dumbbell at shoulder height in one hand, palm facing inward toward your head.
  2. Brace your core and keep your torso square — do not lean away.
  3. Press the dumbbell straight overhead to full elbow extension, maintaining the neutral palm position.
  4. Lower the dumbbell back to shoulder height under control before the next rep.
