How to do the Straight Raises on Incline Bench

  1. Lie chest-down on an incline bench and hold a barbell with a shoulder-width overhand grip.
  2. Begin with the bar hanging below you at full arm extension.
  3. Raise the bar straight out in front of you to shoulder height with arms nearly locked.
  4. Lower slowly and avoid shrugging your traps to complete the movement.
